Tamekia's Story

November 2014, “Minister T” graduated from the Sonship School of the First Born under the leadership of the Late Bishop Nate Holcombe and The Christian House of Prayer (Killeen, Texas) Thereafter, she received a Certificate of License and Ordination February 2015. She serves as one of the Associate Ministers of Victory Church under the leadership of Senior Pastor Dr. Joann Phillips Murrill, Pastor Terrence Murrill and First Lady Shaunya Murrill.

In her spare time, you may find Minister T shopping for shoes, handbags and accessories that was captivated by her former Glam boutique business in Greenville, South Carolina.

Minister T is a living testament of God’s grace, mercy and power within us. She travels every three weeks to the Cancer Treatment Centers in Newnan, Georgia for ongoing chemotherapy treatment for Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. While battling and fighting for her life daily, God gives her the strength to get through 12 hours days of commuting and work and coming home to be a fulltime wife and mother. You will often hear her say, “I don’t look like what I am going through”.

Minister T”, is a native and current resident of Sumter, South Carolina. She is all smiles when it comes to being a devoted wife to the “Love of her Life” Arnteyus “A.J.” Ross and mother to her boys, Cameron and Caleb. Together Minister T and AJ have a blended family of six children and a bonus grandson who calls her “GLAM-Ma” .

Minister T lives life daily giving God back His word, “Daughter (Tamekia), your Faith has healed you from Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. Go in peace and be free of your infirmities”. On her bad days, she reminds herself of what God promised her, “This sickness (Metastatic Breast Cancer) will not end in death but so the son of God, Jesus Christ, will be glorified.” Breast Cancer is just a platform Minister T uses to give Him Glory and draw people closer to Jesus because we were created to be Faith Strong!
